This year marks a powerful milestone: 50 years of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe. That’s five decades of connection, care, and community-powered change.
The BIG Impact Campaign is our way of honouring this legacy by telling the stories that got us here and building momentum for what’s next. Whether you were a Little, a Big, a volunteer, or a donor, this moment belongs to you.
Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing stories from the past, highlighting current programs, and inviting our community to join us in shaping the future of mentorship in North Simcoe.
Let’s reflect. Let’s celebrate. Let’s keep growing, together.

As a Big Sister, Cindy found that giving just a little bit of her time made a lasting difference. Her story shows the incredible impact one mentor can have.

We recognize the importance of language, and its impact on inclusivity and identity erasure. We acknowledge how our organizational name re-enforces the gender binary and fails to honour Trans, non-binary and gender diverse identities and we are actively advocating for change. We welcome mentors and mentees who are 2SLGBTQIA+
