WHO WE ARE

Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe (BBBSNS) has been in existence for over 40 years. BBBSNS is committed to the healthy development of children and youth in need and their families by providing the highest quality intentional volunteer based mentoring programs. As a non-profit Agency, we rely solely on donations, fundraisers, sponsorships, grants and a lot of community spirit.

BBBSNS serve youth ages 6-17 residing in the Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny, Tay, Springwater and Christian Island area.

WHAT WE DO

BBBSNS offers free intentional youth mentoring programs to the youth residing in North Simcoe with the goal of igniting the power and potential in all youth.

BECOME A BIG

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring programs matches young people with a uniquely suited adult role model to talk to and share common interests with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed between the mentor and the mentee that is built on trust and consistency. With the support of their volunteer mentors, children are able to increase their self-confidence, enhance social skills, and engage in new experiences within their community. Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe offers a variety of programs to meet your needs!

Are you a young person between 6-17 years old looking for extra support from a caring adult? Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe offers free youth mentoring programs to young people in Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny, Tay, Springwater and Christian Island. These programs support the healthy development of young people by matching them with uniquely suited adults from the community to help ignite their potential!

OUR PROGRAMS

Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe offers a variety of free mentoring programs for youth ages 6-17 including 1:1, Group and In School programming. These programs are open to all youth in the North Simcoe area.
